Account and Data Deletion

This page explains how you can request deletion of your Synsto account and associated data. Synsto Publishing ("Synsto", "we", "our") is committed to giving users full control over their personal data.

How to Delete Your Account

1. Open the Synsto app and sign in to your account
2. Go to Settings
3. Select "Account Deletion"
4. Review the information and confirm your request

Once submitted, your account deletion request will be processed securely.

How to Request Data Deletion Only

1. Open the Synsto app and sign in
2. Go to Settings
3. Select "Data Deletion"
4. Submit your request with required details

This option allows you to delete specific data without removing your entire account.

If You Cannot Access the App

If you are unable to access your account, you can request deletion by contacting us.

Email us from your registered email address at: info@synsto.com

Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request and include:

• Your full name
• Registered email address
• Registered phone number (if applicable)

What Data Will Be Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data will be removed:

• Your profile information and account credentials
• Saved preferences and settings
• Device information and push notification tokens
• Reading history, bookmarks, and audiobook progress
• Support and communication history

What Data May Be Retained

Some data may be retained even after deletion where required by law or for legitimate purposes:

• Transaction and payment records (for tax and legal compliance)
• Fraud prevention and security logs
• Records required to resolve disputes or enforce agreements

Such data is minimized and securely stored.

Deletion Timeline

Deletion requests are typically processed within 7 days.

In some cases, additional time may be required for verification or technical processing. You will be notified if delays occur.

Grace Period and Cancellation

After submitting a deletion request, a short grace period may be provided. During this time:

• You may cancel the deletion request from within the app
• Your data remains temporarily recoverable

Once the grace period ends, deletion becomes permanent and cannot be undone.

Impact of Account Deletion

• You will lose access to your account permanently
• Purchased ebooks and audiobooks may no longer be accessible
• Your data cannot be restored after deletion is completed

Verification

To protect your account, we may require identity verification before processing deletion requests.
